Today I sent Chris off to his first ever Cub Scout Camping trip... Surprisingly I am just fine with it! The only worry that I have is for him and if he gets homesick. I packed his backpack with all the necessary things, but I included 3 3x5 cards with little notes from mom on them... I hope that that will help.
I think that he is going to have so much fun! I can't wait to hear the stories of his time there when he comes home Sunday night!!!

you've officially entered the next official level of 'serious parenting' - sending them off to camp. that's the stuff they will remember! he's so grown up... :( i mean, it's great, but sometimes I just miss the 18 month old Chris that danced like crazy to the wiggles jewish song and at night putting him in the car he would ask "moon peez come!" cause he loved the moon so much...
