Summer to do...

The last day of school was June 12th. We had church that night but after, we curled up on my bed to talk about what they wanted to do this summer. We ended up with about 15 things on the list - including: having lunch with both sets of Great-Grandparents, Grandma and Grandpa at their work, park days and camping out back. But Christian added #13 - Skydiving. What an adventurous spirit that one has... Oh my.

Beautiful

These are a few pictures that I took out in my parents backyard. What amazing things that God had fun making! Can you just imagine when He was creating these things?

Imaginations

Ever watched the movie "Sword In The Stone"? Well, here is the wizard (Jakob) and the boy who pulled the sword out of the stone (Christian). Ever wonder where they come up with these ideas? Amazing.

Crazy upside-downers!!!

I thought that it would be cool to get a picture of C&J leaning over me when I am laying on the grass outside... This is the result:

This one was after I knew that it wasn't going to work out very well... It is the best one!

Very Happy Boys!!!

Sleeping Monsters

Oh, let them sleep. But next time, please let it be in their OWN beds! This is the scene that I have woken up to the last 3 nights... Good thing it is a Queen sized bed (doesn't that mean that the QUEEN gets it?)

So Fast!

My last little boy. He is almost 7 months old and in some ways it seems like he should still be a little tiny baby, and in other ways it seems like he should be walking and talking it has been so long! But here are a few pictures of Isaac that I have taken in the last few days - a little glimpse into what his personality might be like...

"What are you doing?"

"Hmmm, what IS that?....."

"I don't know, but I want it!!!"

Intrigue wins out over posing...

Oookaaay?

It is hard to see in this picture, but this was a biscuit with a face made out of cheese and jelly. It's name was Mr. Loveberg. Who knows where this came from and why his name is that, but Christian was very proud of his "creation" - even though he ate it a few minutes later!!!

Fancy Teeth

I have been blessed by someone who enabled me to get my teeth fixed. Normally I am very nervous and anxious about going to the Dentist's office. Today, I was still a little nervous, but my excitement was overriding my fear. This was my teeth before:
And these are my teeth now! What a difference!!!

I am actually more comfortable smiling, making me less self-conscious and better about myself in general!

Naked Baby

So here is the story behind this picture... First, Isaac has a diaper rash that is so bad, I have resorted to letting him "air-dry" so it can begin to heal. That is why he is naked. He has a cold that is sitting in his chest so the Dr. has me giving him nebulizer treatments several times a day. So here we sat, Isaac in his birthday suit with a nebulizer "fishy" mask on. What a day in the life!

Crazy...

This is Christian's last week of school and everyday is something different - today is Crazy sock day!!! So he got to pick something from my drawer of socks and this is what he picked... pink striped toe socks and fuzzy pink slipper socks. Jake decided to wear the pairs on his feet today too!
(Christian is on the left and Jakob is on the right...)

Runners

Suddenly my boys love to run everywhere! They beg me to drop them off at the end of the street so that they can run to Grandma and Grandpa's house, or to our house! I love summertime!

This is actually Jakob (in green) and Daniel (in blue). Daniel really kept up with Jakob!

Hams

My Older two boys -
they really do love each other very much. They just don't show it all the time!

Isaac - that boy has already learned that the camera is funny. He is so smiley and happy it is easy to catch a great picture of him!!!

A picture of all 9 of the grandkids, no one is crying, everyone is at least looking at the camera! Amazing!

Daniel wanted to "hold" Isaac, so I set Isaac next to him on the chair. They looked so cute, I had to snap a quick picture and what a great shot it is!

Please no chewing...

Isaac was just talking in his crib after his nap and when I went in there to get him, this is what I saw:
He is CHEWING on the rail of the crib!

Oh, please, Lord, Keep this boy from being the chewer and the EVERYTHING-goes-in-his-mouth child!!! I am not sure that my house can handle another Jakob! Jenn, you know what I am talking about - HELP!!! ;)
