Speed Racer

For some reason, Isaac LOVES this!

This is a Lego "bus" that has had all the legos dumped out, a blanket put in the bottom with Isaac on top (happily I might add), then they are off! We have had only one crash with tears, immediately followed by more racing! My Happy Boys!

Letter to Santa

Yes, I do realize that it is the end of January, therefore a little late for letters to Santa. But I came across a picture that I took of Christian's letter and couldn't resist sharing it!

And for those of you who aren't proficiant in reading "Christian" - this is the translation: "Dear Santa Claus, For Christmas I would like 3 toy guns, 4 ladybugs and some chips. Take it easy on yourself."

Oh, the honesty of Children. If only we all could be like that.

If you are interested in purchasing any of the things that you see on there, please comment or you can e-mail me at 3owingsmonsters@comcast.net.

Thank you!

BTW, for anyone that asked, the picture that you see above was taken by me in M&D's backyard... Cool, Huh?

Wha...?

So the last few days Isaac has been doing the strangest thing. He puts his hands on the side of his face, looks up at you with this HUGE grin, then pulls his hands away! Do you know what he is doing? He is playing peek-a-boo! I couldn't believe it when I finally figured it out! It is the cutest thing - and he just LOVES IT!!!

Happy New Year!

How is it that it is already January 4th, 2009! It seems like just yesterday that we were celebrating 2008! Here is what my year looked like (condensed version!):

Tried to figure out the crazy life of being a single mommy of 3 wild boys. (and still haven't fully got it!)

C is in 2nd grade - Flourishing. His teacher says that he is behaving and taking himself out of situations that could get him into trouble - Major step!

J is in afternoon Kindergarden. He is in a 2-way Immersion Spanish/English class. His Teacher is amazed by his ability to speak Spanish and put words together to form a sentence. He is LOVING his teacher and his classmates.

Isaac is now fully walking and he loves to wear his shoes! He says many words, but my Favorites are "mama", "bub"(brother), and "up". He also knows many words in sign language - "more", "all-done" and "please" are the most common.

Me. My situation with Donovan is tenuous at best. We are still in the process of the Divorce, not yet settled, but hopefully we will be done soon. My health is wavering. I have good days and bad days. Still in limbo of not knowing what happened in Jan. '07 or what is happening now. My faith in my Doctor(s) is not strong. But my faith in My God is. I have gone through a wonderful class at church called Divorce Care. There I have found many friends that have gone through what I am, and many helpful suggestions, verses and videos. I have smashed my tiles and God has taken my deep anger away.

I have grown to appreciate my Friends more, Love my family more and Thank the Lord for the many blessings that He has given me.

Happy New Year to all! May this Year bring many blessings to you and your family!
