A family of 5, with 3 big little monsters... trying to keep it together, making it one day at a time, all by the Grace of God!
I did cut my hair.
However. It isn’t as short as that last pic.
I was straightening the front with the back clipped up.
I looked into the mirror, saw the shortness,
liked it, took a pic, decided to post it to see what everyone thought.
It really isn’t that short.
BUT.
I am thinking of going SUPER short for the summer.
My hair does grow really fast.
Hmmm. Just a thought for now, but seriously considering it.

He can’t grow up!
I refuse to let him!
But sadly, it isn’t my choice.
He is doing it anyway.
Just like his big brothers.
Suddenly, he threw a fit about sleeping in his beloved car bed.
He wanted to sleep with mom.
WASN’T GOING TO HAPPEN.
So.
This is what happened.
This was my Valentines gift from Isaac.
He grew up.
Not sure I like this gift.
We’ll see.
My oldest boy.
He is 9 and a half.
I wouldn’t exactly consider him accident prone.
However.
Last Thursday was his 11th ER trip.
Yes, #11. In his lifetime.
But no ambulance ride this time!
Just a shuffle of kids to a friend and a quick trip to the local hospital.
What happened, you ask?
Well. Let me give you an equation:
RipStick + growing boy + fall = lots of blood & a considerably different looking mouth.
Yup. Poor kid. His smile will never be the same.
(I would post pics of his mouth and ER trip, but C made me promise that I wouldn’t post any pics without asking him first. And since he is at school, I will have to wait!)

These 2 little monsters…
ahem… I mean, little boys, decided that they needed to dump all of these…
…yes, ALL of these, out onto the floor of Isaac’s room last night.
To say the least, I wasn’t exactly thrilled.
As you can tell, I wasn’t even THINKING about taking a picture of the “before”… You’ll just have to use your imagination.
I’m walking.
In fact, I have been known to run a bit.
And you know what? Shhhh… Don’t tell.
But I am enjoying it!
Really! I am!
And there’s more.
I am going to do it again!
And again, and again, and again…..
But there is no lack of energy here…
Hey, I itched! Calamine to the rescue!
Now, there are 3 boys here… 1 definitely with Chicken Pox – C – and 2 with signs of Chicken Pox.
I kept J home from school just in case… he was itching last night, but denied that he was itching this morning.
Better safe than sorry!
Hopefully there won’t be a mommy with it!
First we went to Great Grandma and Grandpa Lowens.
Playing with toys… and, of course, riding on Tomy!
Conversations and loves…
Then we went to Great Grandma and Grandpa Simmons’.
We walked out to their Garden Plot to find that there were still good carrots!
