By Christian

~Jakob~

Every time I find
The time to remind
That I would be nothing
I would be bluffing
If I said I don't care
About that long hair
And about that grin
Right above his chin
But I don't own
That accident prone
Funny little man
He made me who I am
I love him with all my heart
It would hurt to be apart
Even though he farts
And his smart-alek remarks
I love his eyes
I wouldn't plan his demise
He was born to stand out
Not dawdle in the crowd
He is not a copy
He is an only
The one, the only
Jakob

(This was written by Christian. After a particularly rough day of fighting and generally not getting along, I gave them the 'what-for' and told them to go write as many good things as they could think of about each other. Chris came to me with this beautiful and eloquent poem a little while later. It was so heart-felt and sincere. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have.)
