Sitting at the dining room table tonight, I asked the boys what their favorite thing about their day was:
Chris: Our substitute teacher! She says she is like "the spoiler granny"!
Jake: Computer Lab... I did Spanish 1a and got 8th place!
Mommy: So what was your least favorite part?
Jake: Getting my head scraped with the hula hoop... and hit with a wall-ball in the eye!
(note: there are no red marks or anything on him and no notes home...)
Chris: Nothing, I liked everything about my day!!!
Nice! That is a phrase I haven't heard out of Chris' mouth in a very long time, if ever!
A family of 5, with 3 big little monsters... trying to keep it together, making it one day at a time, all by the Grace of God!

love it!!! a friend of mine recently inspired me to do best and worst of the day too - and the kids remember more often than we do! isn't it a great way to go into dinnertime and the bedtime routine...! thanks for sharing.
