Soccer Season

So, Soccer season is upon us... That means several things: Loads of laundry with wet, muddy and stinky clothes, constantly running one child or the other to or from soccer practice or games, standing next to the soggy field cheering on teams of Kindergardeners or 2nd graders, and wrangling a restless 16 month old who just wants to get the ball that is being booted back and forth in front of him on the field. Oh, the joy of being a soccer mom. Yeah.
Here are a few snaps of our times at the soccer fields...
Jake is the one in red, trying to tackle the ball - He just loves to be the goaly because he gets to stand in the mud and then splash down into it to stop the ball from going into the goal!
Chris being the ham that he is!

A cold Isaac, grinning like he knows what I am doing!

As much as the boys enjoy soccer, I just can't wait for it to be over... more relaxed evenings, no more running here and there and everywhere... But it sure is fun to see my boys happy!
