So this is a little bit of a story, but it's a good one.
Today, sitting at lunch, Christian says, "Mom, are you a moth or a cockroach?" Completely dumbfounded, my reply was, "HUH?" Then Chris says, "In class today we learned about how cockroaches runaway from God's light, and moths go towards God's light. I am a moth, I want to go to God's light. What about you, Mom?" The following conversation was hard to follow because Jakob chimed in with different bugs and it became a hilarious who is what bug... (do you have a banana seat on your bike? ;0 ) Anyway... Tonight we sit together on Christian's bed to pray. Christian prays, then Jake - "Prayer Jesus. Thank you for making me a moth. I want to fly to you. Please help me to fly to you, Jesus...." Out of the mouths of kids, straight to the ears of God.
Amen.

Jakob is a deep thinker... it comes out at different times. What a wonderful prayer. I love blogging - it causes us to document things we would not have otherwise!
wow wow wow. what amazing rewards you are already starting to receive back from them!!
