Sunshine

We are all enjoy the tidbits of sunshine that come peeking through the clouds lately... 

Some of us more than others!

Runnin... Walkin... Playin... Part 2

Isaac HAD to jump in at some point, until he got whacked in the mouth.

 We left as the sun was going down, God was having fun with colors!

Sunday after the boys got home, we decided to go walking. The boys wanted to go to the school park, and John and I wanted to do some walking. Somewhere along the line, John challenged the boys to walk the track - a quarter a lap. Chris said he was going to do 20 laps to earn $5. 

I think soon after we got there, the boys realized they weren't going to do THAT many laps. 

 John went for a lap with Chris, trying to help him breathe and run.

 We egged on the bigs, trying to get them to run... It was short-lived. When Chris caught up with Jake, a short wrestling match ensued, making them both muddy.

 After that, Jake and Isaac were done walking and went with John to the playround.

Chris and I stayed and kept walking... Chris ended up finishing with 9 laps (2.25 miles) and $2.25. Jake and Isaac did 3 laps each. 

All sorts of horsing around...

Isaac has now lost 2 teeth! With his first lost tooth, he had no interest in writing a note to the Tooth Fairy. This time though, he wanted to. So he told me what to write, I wrote it and he copied it in his own handwriting. He was so cute leaning over the paper and diligently writing. He did a wonderful job too!
