Overheard…

Isaac (to Christian): “When I grow up and I’m old enough to go hunting with Grandpa, I call shotgun!”

I am pretty sure he was talking about the spot in the truck, not a gun.

Isaac’s Birthday

The littlest man in this house turned 5 in November…

Each time one of my boys has a birthday, I think, “Where did my little boy go?” This birthday was no different.

Isaac is a constant source of joy, laughter and head-shaking wonder.

He is writing his numbers and letters – I find papers all over the house with “mommy” and “Isaac” written on them, as well as little stick figures holding hands or camping in tents.

For his birthday, Isaac wanted to go to Safari Sam’s (a local indoor play area that has food and a small arcade and stuff). We took one of his friends, Keala, with us and had a BLAST!

 

 

I know it is a bit belated (but better late than never right?)
