Week at Jenn's

Oh, what a week. We started off feeling crazy and it just got worse as the week went on! We managed to get to VBS every night by 5:30, not getting back to Jenn's until 9:30 or later. Kids weren't just about to sleep in of course, so we were all up around 8 again to start it all over the next morning. But I must admit that one of the highlights of the week was sneaking out of the house at 9:30pm Saturday evening with Jenn and Leroy, leaving the kids in bed sleeping, with a babysitter in the living room - to go see Mamma Mia! Oh what a great movie!
Anyway, here are a few pics that I managed to get inbetween dishes, diapers and sleep:

Ryan, sweet boy. What a smile!

Nathan was such a mess, there was dirt falling off of him! He didn't want to look at me so that I could take a picture...
Those were white socks. Now they are grey.
Jakob. Oh, Jakob.
Nathan (once he was clean) talking so sweetly to Isaac. Adorable.
Christian had no idea what Auntie Jennifer what doing behind him! This picture was meant to get the blue marker that was kindly written all over his face at VBS.

What a great shot!

Flexible girl - showing me the blue marker on her ankle. (BTW- it was on both sides of her and Christian's ankles!)

Auntie Jennifer was asking the kids what their favorite part of VBS was... They were so tired I wasn't sure they even knew what they were saying!

Thank you sister for a wonderful week. It was CRAZY! But it was a lot of fun too!

More Misc. Pictures

A little "flipbook" of Isaac making his way through a tunnel, trying to make his way to Mama, who kept moving!

Until Mama couldn't move backwards anymore! Gotcha!

Misc. Pictures

Grandpa challenged the grandkids to climb the rope swing (with bribe included) and Christian has never denied a challenge. So off he went, trying with all his might to reach the branch - coming within inches, but not quite reaching it. He was so bummed, but he didn't give up!

My handsome boy - what a smile!

Up on a branch... not too sure what to do then...

And obviously, neither does he!

Just thought that this was a cool picture, with the sunlight and stuff!

ONLY 2 WHEELS!!!

My boys, on their bikes!

Jakob has graduated to 2 wheels. The other weekend, he just got it! Suddenly it all clicked and off he went, no more training wheels. Now how do I get him off? He never wants to quit!
