2 adorable, spunky, black and white kittens that were brought to me by my neighbor when they were abandoned at her work. We are happy to have them, even if they do create a bit more chaos sometimes!

St. Baldrick’s Shaving

They both did it.

I nearly cried.

They were brave. They were awesome.

Chris decided last minute to go ahead and shave his head too.

I am sooooo proud!

There are SO many pictures, I had to just combine them into collages.

Here is “Before The Shaving”

Jakob actually left a section in the back that the stylists french braided and then painted green with the rest of his head! He LOVED it, but it didn’t last long…

Friends, more friends and other friends… It was great! :)

Just like that

Sunday afternoon, Isaac came up to me and told me that he wanted me to put the pedals on his bike. We have had this bike for a while and he has been riding it without pedals, learning how to balance and propel himself on it - doing fabulously! As soon as I had the pedals on, he was off! No help, NOTHING!

(sorry, I am a little loud... :) )

So that was yesterday, right? Yeah. Today, he decided that we needed to go for a bike ride. He insisted that I get my bike out (dusting it off - cough, cough) and we go bike riding together. After we took Chris and Jake to school, that's what we did. Got out the bikes, pumped up the tires, and headed out. I asked him where we were going and he said "Lisa's." Alrighty. A friend of mine that is about 8-10 blocks away. Hmm. Is he ready to go that far?

After about a minute I realize that he is MORE than ready. We go to her house, visit for a minute then head back. As we are riding I tell him that I think he needs a bigger bike. His eyes light up. I tell him that I think I have one at home that might fit him...

And this is what happened:

He has hardly gotten off this bike that he is barely big enough for... he has had some amazing crashes, a little bit of blood, bandaids and TONS of fun!

{By the way, when did this boy grow up???}
